The Large Order Area is open Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm,
and Wednesday, noon – 4 pm.

Welcome Large Order Shoppers.  Please abide by the following:
 
Ticket Distribution Procedures for Gaining Entry to the Bookhouse

• The book house is capacity controlled.
• There is a single entry point for all shoppers (including Large Order) wanting access to the main Bookhouse.
• Entry tickets will be distributed between 6 and 8 am to the first 450 people in line and are required for all shoppers entering the book house at the opening bell.
• There are limited spaces available for the large order area, they will also be allocated on a first come, first served basis between 6 and 8 am on Saturday, and you must be present at the time of ticket distribution between 6 and 8 am in order to claim your ticket.

Requirements:

• Shoppers are responsible for providing their own properly sized boxes.
• Upon check-in, a member of the large order team will assign a designated space for you to store your boxes.
• A minimum of eight (8) boxes is required to use the large order area.
• Each box must be labeled with the shopper’s name and phone number prominently displayed on one side and one end of each box.
• Boxes only.  No plastic tubs, bins,“IKEA” oversized bags, etc. are allowed.
• Your boxes must conform to the following size, weight guidelines and be closable (flaps or covers):
  • approximate size from 12”x12”x12” to 18”x18”x16”.
  • packed weight not to exceed 25 pounds

Shoppers exceeding size and weight guidelines may be asked to move their own boxes upon drop-off or when checking out.
 
Not Allowed in the Bookhouse:

• Stacking books on floor.
• Limiting access of other shoppers.
• Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

During the Sale

• While shopping, drop off any filled boxes for storage in your assigned area.
• To expedite the check-out process, as filled boxes are dropped off, a member of large order team will price the contents and tape the total to the side of each box.
• The total of all priced boxes for each order will be determined upon final checkout.

Checking Out

• All shoppers must complete all shopping no later than 3:45 pm.
• Pay by cash, check, or credit cards, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
• Exit the large order area with your purchase.
• After paying for all boxes, purchased items may be transferred to other containers using the area outside and adjacent to the large order tent.
• Shoppers may load vehicles at the back gate.

End of Day

• The large order area will close promptly at 4 pm.
• All items must be purchased and removed from the large order area by 4 pm.
• FOL staff will not be responsible for any items left in the large order area after 4 pm.
• Shoppers disregarding these procedures may be asked to leave the large order area.
